For the velcro, I buy a softer type of velcro that is actually pretty quiet to use. I'm not sure of the exact name of velcro. But I have also used the other kind of velcro in a church setting and it doesn't seem to be a big deal. In my church, there is already a lot of noise :) Thanks for you comment. I can't sew and have really been wanting to make one of these, but heard they were such a pain. This doesn't look bad at all and turned out looking so adorable. My only question is, does the velcro end up being loud in church? The file folder velcroed games I have make loud sounds when you tear pieces off. What am I doing wrong? Or does it end up being quieter just because you're using felt and not a file folder? I LOVE this!! I can’t sew and have really been wanting to make one of these, but heard they were such a pain. We decided to go to a different church service and take our kids with us, then send them to Sunday School during the next service. The first week of having them with us in church was a disaster!
