Alpha Mom – Adding Flare to a Witch Hat

by Marie on October 23, 2008

Alpha Mom, a great site for moms, has just started a new holiday column featured on Thursdays called, Once Upon a Holiday. Fun ideas for every holiday will be shared and I’m lucky enough to add my contribution once a month on Alpha Mom. Today, I’ve taken a simple witch hat and added a little flare with fun green hair. So come on over and check out this cackle worthy craft!

Here’s a few more Witch Cackling ideas for Halloween:

That’s really cute. I love the spider hanging down and I have tons of yarn around my house!!

What a great idea – and I think it’s even cuter than spraying your child’s hair with something to make it a different color. Your whole site is full of flair! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas.

That’s a cute witch’s hat. I’ve been trying to think what I could do to make my $1.99 plain-Jane witch’s hat a little bit better!

So adorable and adds just the right touch to be a spooky witch on Halloween.

I just bought brown lunch bags to do the witches brooms for treat bags at our Halloween party when I was at the store yesterday- great minds think alike! I saw them last year and knew I had to try them!

Also, the witch hat? So cute!
