Oh my goodness. Bring. It. On. My husband and I play with high school and college kids we’ve volunteered with over the years, and it’s gotten pretty competitive. This is my fourth year playing football and my fifth with the NBA. You and I need to start a club – Women Who Win. I won the first two seasons of my NBA league, the second season of my NFL league, and a NCAA pool three-year champ. You have a kindred spirit in me, and it’s super fun to find another woman who actually enjoys playing and knows what she’s talking about! :) Good luck to you in the quest for the family trophy. Such a great idea.

Fun trophy! I’m in my second year of fantasy football, thanks to my boyfriend-now-husband’s fascination with the game. I’m definitely with you on football concession food and warm, cozy clothing… and when it comes to live games, I think I may actually prefer high school games to anything else!

Anyway, the reason I thought to comment was… does your trophy say “Holt Family Fantasy Football”?!?!… ‘cuz that’s definitely my (pre-married) family, too. Only we don’t have a fantasy football league. Yet. I’m inspired.

I love football the most, too! I have played FF for the past 3 seasons, and this year have 4 teams!! Crazy, I know, but I’m hoping that by having that many, I have a better chance of at least ONE of them doing well! :)

I visited because I saw you following me on Twitter. I enjoyed your blog. My daughter (http:www.myfirstkitchen.net) was the only other woman I know who plays Fantasy Football and wins. She’d probably love to get in on your family fun as well. The rest of us aren’t nearly as hooked as she is. She didn’t get that love from her mama!

GO TEXANS!!! I’m a Houston-ite and am so happy we’ve got a football team again ~ not a fan of Bud Adams and the Titans. Boo!

I watch football with my hubby and he laughs at me when I get more excited about a play than he does. He watches baseball with me and laughs at me that I’ll sit through a baseball game on tv. I luves my baseball :)

I am a huge sports fan. My absolute favorite is baseball! I just love how the craziest things can happen.
But really, there isn’t a sport I won’t watch… well maybe hockey or soccer.
