I think you should find out because you should plan ahead like what color room you want it to be or what to buy. Or you could do it old fashion like my mom did to me, you get a ring and a chain and put the ring ing the change so the ring dangles from the chain put it over your belly and if it circles its a boy and if it goes back and forth its a girl. Also you may want to be ready to find out what to name em’

We were only going to have one ultrasound and we decided that we wanted to find out, but the baby was cross-legged with an arm between the legs so, no dice. I realized after though that I liked not knowing and if I was to have another, I wouldn’t find out. The only thing I didn’t like was all of the mint green clothes we ended up with in the beginning.

I think that when I have a boy and a girl, I will wait. Then again I am not usually one that can wait!! It would be fun to not know, but it would kill me if I didn’t know because my mom does prego ultrasounds for my doctor…so she would know and I wouldn’t. That’s a tough one!

I’m the kind of person who can’t stand to have information known, but not to me. So if I were getting the ultrasound for otherreasons besides sex determination, and it became obvious to the tech, I’d want them to tell me. But if baby was hiding I wouldn’t want to push him/her to show. :)

We only found out on one of our four (and we didn’t tell anyone) It was anticlimatic if you ask me. No one is disappointed when they see a new baby. I also think it makes everyone around more excited for the big day (and baby)to arrive!

Finding out is like opening a Christmas present before the big day. When I was a kid, we would find where our parents hid the presents. We knew long before what we were getting.

Christmas was still wonderful, but the surprise and suspense who have made it more meaningful.

That said, we finally found out the gender of our fourth child after the surprise of three girls.

it would personally drive me nuts NOT to find out because I’m kind of a control freak/planner type. Plus I like what the other girl said about bonding… helps when you know what you’re bonding with!!

My husband and I don’t have kids (yet) and that is one of the things we have to figure out too! He really wants to wait, and I can’t ever wait two weeks to figure out what my Christmas presents are. I wish I could have patience… I think it’d be fun to find out the sex once the child was born… but it would be nice too to prepare… what do I know?
