Lovely pics :)
Just a tip incase you didnt know - to help remove sand from your body after the beach apply talcum powder - slaides right off!!

I could just sit on the sand and watch the ocean forever - Great way to daydream :)

My kids loved seeing the pictures of their cute cousins. Sorry we missed seeing you. Looks like it was a great vacation and Jordan's Grandma still looks the same.

OH, the joys that the beach bring.. finding sand everywhere you don't want it to be yet wishing it could be there again when you are away. Our family's favorite vacations spots are Sanibel Island, Florida at the Casa Ybel Resort and just camping in the mountians of Idaho. Sanibel is the live shelling capital of the world so it is fun for hte kids to find live sand dollars and star fish to take home as souviners.

Love the pics! I read in a children's book once (I believe it was "Five Children and It" by E. Nesbit) that the best way to get sand out of a baby's eye is to use "your own soft tongue". Yeah, it struck me as weird, too. But I can see how it would be effective!

Looks like you had so much fun! I don't know if I've left a comment before here, but I had to today. We called our granny Meema too! She's passed on now but seeing that name in your post today brought back sweet memories, especially since I didn't know anyone else named Meema. Precious!

Hey! We went to the same exact place for our va-ca last month :) Same beach and boardwalk, so funny! Did you try the fried twinkes or oreos on the boardwalk? I STILL have sand in my cell phone :)
