I have been loving this sight since I stumbled across it in late December–much to late for any good holiday crafting! Thanks for some great inspiration. My to-do (someday) list is way to long.

I’d love the Recipes or the Crafting with Kids. Happy blogaversary!

I enjoy reading your posts so much. I have 2 little ones of my own and it is nice to get different ideas on how to entertain them. Also, I am just a few weeks behind you with my pregnancy so it is nice to compare “notes” with other people. I would love the crafting with kids or baking choice.

Good job on the one year mark! I’m sure there are many more years to come from that craft little mind of yours. I’d love the crafting with kids or baking items. Heaven knows I need to do more of both!!

Hooray for one year! I love the kids crafts you post. My son is a little young, but I always check them out and can’t wait to start “Making” stuff with him. My second choice would be the recipes. We’ve made several from your posts with great results.

I will be trying the Nutter Butter balls next! I’ve been wanting to try one of your hand-stitched cards, but haven’t yet, so I would LOVE that prize!

I love them all. I just can’t pick one right now. How is that for choosing!
I guess if I was hard pressed to pick, right now I would choose…ok, kids crafts. I feel my time is growing short with them, when they want to sit with me and do something.

SOOooOO glad I stumbled upon your site–you are a great inspiration–I’ve started collecting fabric for my very own “here comes the sun” quilt. I check your blog every day for new ideas. I love all your ideas for kids but your home crafts(#2) are the best–with 4 little kids at home I have to do something just for me so I don’t go crazy!

Reply

41 Lori February 25, 2008 at 2:33 pm

Yahoo – I’d love #1. But you know… all things crafty are a-ok in my book.

Reply

42 christie February 25, 2008 at 2:46 pm

I like the mix of the three. There are lots of blogs closer to a solo theme, and I like the variety of your blog. I would never subscribe to a recipe blog (I am pretty happy with my sources and I like browsing books), but to come upon a recipe every so often at a blog I subscribe to for different reasons is so nice and refreshing for me.

Reply

43 Jenn February 25, 2008 at 2:59 pm

I just recently and somehow found your blog about a month ago. I could not read enough recipes in one day!! I have loved trying some of your dishes.

I made your homemade chewy granola bars last night. Instead of honey, I used peanut butter and mini chocolate chips instead of m&ms…..I am in heaven. I am a nursing student and plan on giving all my classmates one of the granola bars I made.

My next batch of granola bars will be with the honey and bits of dried apples…..mmm mmm….I can’t wait!

I just found your website through your comment on Allsorts. As a mom of 3, and a teacher-librarian for JK-gr.6, I’ve already found lots of interesting kid-crafts. I can’t wait to explore further. I really like the card-sewing ideas!

I really have enjoyed all your craft ideas. I just saw the tu-tu you made and I am going to make one for my daughter’s birthday. I made your stitched Valentine hearts for all my siblings for V-Day and plan on making the other stiched cards too. So I guess my favorites are your hand stitched cards. Who doesn’t like to get something besides bills and junk in tha mail?

Reply

51 JustRandi February 25, 2008 at 4:56 pm

ooo! I would love any of them, but the cooking/baking sounds really fun! I would also love the handstitched card supplies, but only if it comes with instructions. I’m a pretty good copier, but as for making it up? forget it.

And WOW! Blog of the week!! I’m so honored! Thanks Marie!

Reply

52 RoRo February 25, 2008 at 5:26 pm

I think I would like #2 because I am trying to make homemade cards and I love to cross-stitch so I have been dreaming of trying a handstitched card.

I would also like #3 because I would give it to my sister she is the best cook in the kitchen, I have had really bad health the past year and my sister came up twice on her own to cook and clean for me.

Holt! Holy Crap — you’ve almost got 100 comments!!!! How can a gal compete?!?!?

Well, I think I should win the prize because I have asked Alyssa if I can be in charge of “Setting the Table” for you-know-what…

I’m totally planning on making it look at Martha-esque with my Pottery Barn best!!! All for you darling (plus, it’s the least I can do after not responding to anyone and failing to get it done at my place, eh?)

Anyway, thanks for your cute thoughts on my blog… and I am putting my wish in for the cards as I don’t have any kids (although, “procreate in 2008″ is feeling the clock ticking) and I’m not much of a baker… cooking reduction sauces and chutneys sure… baking? No way!!!

Love you –
