My sister and I just got done thinking of more ideas for these fun candy canes. I will have to do a post with melting these into letters for Christmas, like JOY or NOEL.

Kara - I love my silicone mat. I actually wish I had 2-3 more. I highly suggest getting one.

Lindsay - They are clever. I also like the name Lindsat!

Kelly - My kids think the candy canes are a little too “spicy” so I am just using them for decorations. Also, I think it is a treat to find out the sex of the baby after you just endured 17 weeks of “morning sickness”!

that is perfect. so cute. gavin loves candy canes, so he will be thrilled. oh and btw… my vote is to find out. i don’t know why, i guess it just adds a little bit of excitement. by that time in my pregnancies, i’m so over being prego, so finding out is a fun little treat. it helps me channel all my thoughts.

Awesome idea Marie!! I have a whole box of candy canes and we will be doing this for family night tonight! Now I just need one of those handy silicone mats! Of course I knew who you were silly! That’s why I came to visit your site. I don’t know how you have the time and energy for it all, but I sure am glad that I get to benefit from your talent!
