I think these are so neat! My baby was born on Valentines Day, and so for his first birthday, we’ll be making these and placing them on birthday cupcakes! I found a box of 100 small candy canes at Walmart for 50c, so I can make 50 of these beauties!

My sister and I just got done thinking of more ideas for these fun candy canes. I will have to do a post with melting these into letters for Christmas, like JOY or NOEL.

Kara – I love my silicone mat. I actually wish I had 2-3 more. I highly suggest getting one.

Lindsay – They are clever. I also like the name Lindsat!

Kelly – My kids think the candy canes are a little too “spicy” so I am just using them for decorations. Also, I think it is a treat to find out the sex of the baby after you just endured 17 weeks of “morning sickness”!

that is perfect. so cute. gavin loves candy canes, so he will be thrilled. oh and btw… my vote is to find out. i don’t know why, i guess it just adds a little bit of excitement. by that time in my pregnancies, i’m so over being prego, so finding out is a fun little treat. it helps me channel all my thoughts.
