Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Since it’s on the last day of October, we like to decorate and celebrate all month long. To help in this process, we’re counting down the days until Halloween. We made a classic paper chain counter, but turned it into a paper chain pumpkin man.

Coloring pasta is easy to do and gives kids something bright and beautiful to work with. Once the pasta is colored and dried, necklaces or charms can be made by stringing yarn.
Supplies for Colored Pasta:
Dried Pasta - any pasta works, but for stringing you will need tubed pasta. I used macaroni, penne, and wheels.

We love looking at photo albums. My son loves to get out his baby book and see how cute he was. It’s fun to look at pictures of personal things. So I thought it would be fun to come up with a personal book of colors using pictures from around our house.

We brought back some sand from our trip to the beach, crafting with it to help us remember our fun vacation. We used this sand like glitter to make sand pictures. They turned out so cute that I’ll be framing them to hang in my beach themed bathroom.
