Children’s Music CDs

by Marie on August 1, 2007

I love blasting the music to our little cd player in the front room. We get it going and all three of us are dancing to the tunes. It can be a really great workout for me if I am into it enough. We have put on classical music and danced our hearts out to “Flight of the Bumblebee”.

Here are some other great choices for Children’s Music CDs:

Dr. Jean: I used her all the time when I taught Kindergarten. She has fun with children’s music. She is able to teach many pre-school concepts in her songs, as well as silly songs too.

Dr. Jean and Friends

iTunes: I love to put together songs from itunes and make my own mix for the kids. I have been meaning to do a mix of all the T.V. kids showtunes, like Dora, Blues Clues, Wiggles. All in a little mix CD. (iTunes gift cards are the best gift to give!)

Raffi: He has this great voice that is inviting and fun. He sings lots of old goodies, but also brings in some of his own too. I love “Down on Grandpa’s Farm” and “Tingalayo”.

Have fun dancing your hearts out, and turn the music up loud!

I love to play music for my kids too! We have quite the selection. I used to listen to Rafi when I was a kid, my kids love “Brush your teeth”!

My mom loved Raffi so we grew up on him. Now that I have my own little boy, we love to listen to him or watch a dvd with him. So much fun!
