I like to make overnight creme brule french toast and have a ham and lots of sausage, muffins-both english and american, lots of homemade jams and marmalade, coffe, tea and hot chockie of course. People eat while they open presents. And we start with orange blossom drinks - orange juice, vodka and grenadine, sugared to taste if need be.

In the past, I've done Monkey Bread (what Molly described above) for Christmas breakfast, but the idea of something sweet didn't appeal to my MIL or me. So, this year, I did my Bisquick breakfast casserole. Super easy and delish!

Robin - so funny how important traditions are in our family too. I love your burrito breakfast.

This Girl - I think my family should switch to eating Summer food instead, even though we are in knee deep in Winter. Maybe it will help our snow melt!

We started having breakfast burritos when the kids were small. It is now a tradition that they won't let me change. It's nice to have traditions :)

We've done pancakes in the past but this year I am making a french toast casserole. It has cream cheese and a sweet syrup. You use slices of french bread. Yummm!
