I absolutely love the fruit loop garland. You once again inspired me.

We are attending a Christmas party for my mother's group tomorrow and each parent has to take one craft activity along, so this is the one I chose. I made up kits for each child so that if they didn't get the project done during the party they could take it home.

Hope you like what I did.

You are so wonderful and inspire me so often.

One fun idea I've done is to decorate a child as a Christmas Tree. Just bring in fake evergreen, garland, ornaments, tinsel, and a star for the top. This works best in a small group of around 4 students. We generally create stations during the parties and have the student groups rotate.

We had our party on Wednesday. We did freeze dance to upbeat Christmas songs and it was a hit. We also did pin the nose on Rudolph. I just painted him on a piece of poster board and cut out noses from red construction paper.

Great idea for Pin the Nose on the Snowman! I don't know why, but that game never gets old. Kids always love it no matter what you're pinning!

I'm co-room parent for my two kids. For my daughter's kindergarten class we're doing a milk carton gingerbread house for them to decorate. For my 2nd grader, we're decorating sugar cookies and having a hot cocoa station. There are other activities going on but those are the main event. All in the name of winter fun! Love the fruit loop garland idea (will have to remember that for next time).
