I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

by Marie on October 20, 2007

I will often get stumped on what to make for dinner. I posted earlier about making a Weekly Meal List. But there are times when I get bored of those meals that we eat again and again. So I have searched for help from my friends in the blogging world for great blogs dedicated to Meal Making.

Here is a list of great food blogs that help out a needy dinner cook:

Domestication in Progress: great tips and tricks for the new and old.

Pinch my Salt: I want to eat right through the blog. Yummy recipes.

Pioneer Woman Cooks: Great step by step pictures for simple food.

Eating In: Great recipes that make you want to eat in.

What I Made for Dinner: What she is making for dinner.

This Week for Dinner: Menu plan for the week and pictures to go with it.

Have fun searching for great meals. Is there another great dinner blog I missed?

Every Monday orgjunkie.blogspot.com lists her weekly menu and she does one of those linky carnivals, so there are usually a hundred or more other people who link to their Menu Plan Monday too. Most of them have the recipes too.

My friend and I just started a recipe blog. http://www.twomomsinthekitchen.blogspot.com. We just started it a few weeks ago so there aren’t a ton of recipes yet, but the ones we have so far are pretty yummy!

Thanks for including me on the list! Two of my favorites when I need some dinner inspiration are Kalyn’s Kitchen and Simply Recipes. Hope I got those links typed right :-)

I left a comment but think it might be caught up in the spam net. I’ll try again without the actual links this time to see if it works. I suggested Kalyn’s (kalynskitchen.com) and Simply Recipes (elise.com/recipes) as great sites for dinner inspiration.

One of my Favs is Add to Desired Taste http://addtodesiredtaste.blogspot.com/. They have some great ideas for everyday and some special occasion dishes for families.

Great idea to post these sites. I’m no Betty Crocker, so I need all the help I can get.

I’m in dire need of meal planing help myself, so thanks for the tips!
