I just made these with my kids and they look great. We made them just for decoration without the bubble wrap (had none), and we were out of pipe cleaners so we used black flexi-straws instead. Thanks for a wonderful idea! I haven’t crafted with my kids in faaaaaar too long, but now that I’ve found your blog I’m planning to do tons of your crafts with them throughout the summer! Thanks.

And I love the 4th of July ideas. Since we live abroad we just have a small celebration at home with our little family, so I love to try and make it as festive as possible. This will be our first 4th of July with “fireworks” now that we’ve made these firecrackers. :)
