Thia is such a wonderful item.. I was doing the tie knots ..and let me tell you this is soooo much easier. I cut my time in almost half, by doing these scarfs.. thank you soo much for sharing your site.. I asked all my Nieces and Nephews what color their jackets were,and gave them a scarf to match it for christmas.. they love them! thank you once again for sharing.. I have made them for myself as well.. NOW EVERYONE WANT ONE NOW ! =)

These are great for fundraising also. I know the local high school cheerleaders made and sold these at the games. I’m going to see a friend’s son play in a college game and I’m making these for all of us!

So my neighbor came over and asked me to help her make these scarfs and they are alot of fun and they came out great. They will be used this fall at the football teams that there son plays on cant wait to see how they sell.

Thank you so much for this idea! My daughter’s Girl Scout Troop is collecting scarves for a local charity. We have lots of fleece. I love using what we have! I’m betting my daughter is going to want one too!

Thanks for sharing: I made this! I used a patterned fleece, and it came out looking great. I did buy a whole yard, and its a good thing I did because this fabric was only 5′ long. I am not a seamstress, I have only used the machine briefly once before, but this was so easy. And it didn’t really matter if the seam was straight. What an easy gift to give for Christmas!

HollieB – Sorry if this is confusing. For the fleece, when you buy fabric from a shop, it comes as a folded piece off the bolt. And they usually won’t cut any less than 1/4 yard, so that’s why I mention to get that much. It will get you at least two 5 inch x 5 feet strips.
