Very cute. These might be a good Christmas gift. It will take me that long to get organized! Thanks for another great idea.

I made one of these when I was in Kindergarten for my dad. It had felt on one side- to sit it on and photos on the other sides. He still has it. This is a cute idea- – I think I’ll have to make some w/ my kids ;)

HA!! Great minds think alike! I am making these (http://paperjewels.blogspot.com/2008/06/cd-photo-cube-tutorial.html) tonight.
Death of an uncle + trip home for 3 days + playing catch up + 2 fieldtrips this week = I am *very* late on my projects! But they look easy and quick. I would prefer the more organic wood look but I think the plastic cd case one will be just as appreciated.

Hey, I think I may do this with some building blocks we already have in the toy box — nobody will miss two or three, and saves me the trip to the hardware store….

Rebecca – I love that idea. I need to look around my kid’s toy room and see if they will miss it! Fun idea.

That makes me think of even using the smaller blocks other magazine photos instead of (or in addition to) family photos and creating a very personalized set of alphabet building blocks (pictures of animals, foods, household items, etc) or creating a block puzzle of a family unit, etc. Hmmm.. makes me wish my son was 4 yrs old again!

Those are darling! I saw one of your other readers (Deanna) was going to make my CD case version, but there is something very charming (and durable!) about the word version. I love them. Jewels

Hey, Marie,
I have done this before, and I love it, But i used a scrapbook tool called coluzzle to cut my pics out it is the perfect size for this and you get a rounded corner look, you could also just use a corner rounder. Any way thanks for sharing.

You didn’t post “The Things I Love About” booklet. I treasure that!
