When my kids were younger, my boy a baby, I took all kinds of paint, dipped his feet in them, we stamped a sweatshirt with his hand print and his foot print, my daughter, 11 at the time also did her hand all over the shirt. The baby grew tired of the game, causing a big smudge on the shirt, we then took thumbs and printed them on the shirt.

We wrote Grandma on the shirt, wrapped it with new jeans and gave it to her for Mother's day. She was so thrilled. I saw her wear it a few times over the years. Now my son is 20, my daughter 31, grandma had the shirt on a few weeks ago! She keeps it 'for good'. HAHA, it cracks us up that she still has it all these years later, and it is in excellent condition.

The Foot Book has always been a favorite here too...from my oldest down to by 2 year old. I love your idea of doing their own footprints...cute!
