by Marie on November 10, 2008

You’re in for a treat with this week’s giveaway. Wanting to create a lasting keepsake for her first son Jacob and her dog Bella, Print Kits by Jacobella was born. These great kits come complete with everything you need to make a beautiful framed print of a child’s hands & feet or your loving pet’s paws.

Jacobella BabyJacobella Paw

The kit includes paper, stamp ink, instructions to print, matte and a frame. You just need to provide the subject. It could be your newborn baby’s feet or an older child’s hand.  And don’t forget the pet. Dogs, cats, turtles, almost all pets (except maybe fish) can get their paws printed. These kits are the perfect gift to give this Holiday season, helping your memories last forever. Who doesn’t love to look at the teeny tiny feet of a newborn and see how much their child has grown? Or who wouldn’t love to have a pet’s paw print with them for years to come?

Print Kit Layout

Jacobella is graciously giving away 2 print kits, YES 2! That means 2 winners, so start entering now! To enter, comment on this post by Thursday, November 13th by midnight. I’ll announce the winner Friday morning. Tell us who you’d use your print kit on, the little baby or the family pet!

I love the idea! I would use it on my baby boy that is due in 3 weeks!

5 Paula November 11, 2008 at 1:08 pm

This idea rocks! I would get our baby ( scottish terrier) or should I say, My husband’s shadow and make a paw pic and give it to him for Christmas. That would be his favorite gift!!

I love all the great giveaways!

For the dog! No babies here, although every time we go on a beach vacation, I force everyone to make footprints in some unspoiled wet sand and I take a photo. I love the way they look! We’ve never been able to take our dog along, but if we ever did, I would include paw prints.

What a fun idea! I’d use it for my little girl, or maybe wait until we have another baby (fingers crossed).

10 debbie November 11, 2008 at 2:54 pm

I would do my boys feet. 5 yr old twins and a 20 month old. So sweet to see the change in them.

11 Bonnie November 11, 2008 at 5:31 pm

My mother is absolutely crazy for her dog, Shasta,to the extent that she will take Shasta to Dairy Queen just to get her some ice cream! In fact, she had to stop getting her hamburgers in the drive-thru because Shatsa would try to bury them in the backseat! I would use this to make my mother a print of her lovable canine companion’s paws :-)

12 Randi A. November 11, 2008 at 5:44 pm

I would love to use this kit on my son. They are such neat keepsakes.

13 Beckie November 11, 2008 at 5:46 pm

I would use it on the baby girl that I am currently cooking. She is due in January.

14 savanna November 11, 2008 at 6:12 pm

I would use this kit on my fresh baby girl! She is beautiful and tiny and I would love to capture her in this way!

15 Ginger Carraher November 11, 2008 at 6:37 pm

I’d do a print on my 2nd born so that she can keep up with the first born! Determined to keep things fair being a 2nd born myself! Also… what a darling idea!…. I think I’d like to do a set of prints on the Kitty Chloe as well.

17 becky November 11, 2008 at 8:32 pm

I have two young kiddos, and another on the way (surprise) a good one though :) My oldest is a boy, and the other is a little girl, and they are expecting a sister. These would be used for the two little girls! Pick me :)

18 Leigh November 11, 2008 at 8:40 pm

Our first baby, Wheezer, a 9 year old French Bulldog is getting up there in years and has some health issues. I would love to do her paw prints.

19 Meeghan November 11, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Love this idea…hope I win :)

20 Laine Odle November 11, 2008 at 8:52 pm

I would use the kit on my sweet babies – Michael and Callie! So neat!

21 Rosie November 11, 2008 at 9:49 pm

I love these!! If I don’t win, I’m just gonna buy three so I can make one for my dog and my roommates two dogs. It’s funny because we always talk about the fact that they are our little babies and this would totally complete the joke.

22 Katey November 11, 2008 at 9:50 pm

I would use this kit on my sister’s new dog who she treats like a baby.

What a beautiful way to keepsake the tiny footprints. I would use it for our one year old son. So I would never forget his precious tiny feet.

25 Diana November 12, 2008 at 9:40 am

I’d do my baby’s feet. Well once he/she is born!

26 Amber November 12, 2008 at 9:50 am

I’d definitely use it on my second. She’s been so neglected in the “baby book” area. Note to self: take more pictures!

27 Beth November 12, 2008 at 12:01 pm

We just had a little girl in August. This would be perfect for her nursery!

28 Megan November 12, 2008 at 12:13 pm

The girls… well the youngest one. I wish I could get the little hand prints for the older one. O well.. There is always the present!!

29 Amanda November 12, 2008 at 1:19 pm

I would definitely use it on the little boy we are having in December. These look like so much fun!!

30 Erika November 12, 2008 at 1:31 pm

I would use it on my sweet 7 month old baby. He’s our number three and I’ve overlooked so many things already that I did with my other two. This would help make up for some of that…

31 Sarah November 12, 2008 at 1:51 pm

I’d use it on my 15 month old – his foot print was too big to fit in the other print kit I got and then the ink pad wouldnt work on another one, so I gave up all hope of having that sweet little print of my baby’s foot! Hope I win!

32 Heather November 12, 2008 at 4:21 pm

I would do the whole family (7!) with Joey the Golden Retriever and Misty the Cat too (if I can catch her!). I love, love, love this!

33 marylea November 12, 2008 at 7:39 pm

I would do my daughter, Mini Saurus and my sister in law is having her first baby this spring, this would be a wonderful gift for her as well!

34 Annalisa November 12, 2008 at 7:41 pm

My Brother and his wife just had their first baby on Friday and I would send it to them to remember how tiny she was @ birth!

35 Traci November 12, 2008 at 9:07 pm

I would use it for both my daughters. I had c-sections with both girls and was too groggy both times to ask for hand and foot prints for baby books … this would be a good alternative!

36 Meagan November 12, 2008 at 10:05 pm

I’d use it on this guy:

<3 Meg

37 Joey November 12, 2008 at 10:14 pm

I’d love to win one of these kits for my son and our puppy, they are best buds.

38 CJ November 12, 2008 at 11:20 pm

I would use it for my daughter. Love this…

39 char November 12, 2008 at 11:34 pm

How fun! I would make a foot print (or a few, like walking on a path) and a hand print with my little son, who is 2 and 1/2. Maybe I’d even include us, Mama and Papa, too! I guess that little frame can only hold so much, but you could always get more paper and frames!

40 Penny November 13, 2008 at 1:17 am

Yea! I am so excited I made it to this giveaway; :) count me in! I just had a new GREAT nephew born and this would be a great present for him from his fav. aunt of course :) hehehehe

41 renee November 13, 2008 at 8:19 am

I have a little one on the way and would love this! Too cute.

42 Jen November 13, 2008 at 12:07 pm

I think I would do one of my son’s hands next to my kitty’s paw.

43 Lauren November 13, 2008 at 2:34 pm

I love these!! I would probably use it on my dog. We just moved and I am planning on doing a wall with dog pictures, sayings, etc near where we keep her crate. The pawprints would fit right in!

44 Christy November 13, 2008 at 4:03 pm

What a tough decision! Either my mom’s two dogs (as a gift for her….to make up for not yet providing grandchildren)
OR
My two nephews, ages almost 2 and almost 5. SO adorable!!

45 Renee November 13, 2008 at 4:13 pm

Oh my – my in-laws would love this!!! They have at least seven cats at any given moment… too cute. I’ve never seen the idea of doing pets. I would do my four little monkeys myself!

46 JessV November 13, 2008 at 8:41 pm

I would love to use this on our son (14 months) and dog. Thanks for the chance to win!
