I love when February 29th leaps around. It shakes things up on the calendar. All the days get a little mixed up and we now have 366 days for the year! I have been thinking of the babies that are born on this day. Do you have a birthday or know anyone who has a birthday on February 29th? What do you do on your birthday for the 3 years in between?
Here is a fun Online Leap Frog game that is super addicting as I tried to win. It is impossible for me. How did you do?
We also played the classic game of Leap Frog. My kids have never played before, so I thought it was a good time to let them in on the fun. Of course it would be more fun if our froggy line was about 10 kids long, but my kids had fun running back into line to leap again. Good thing my kids are small, my belly is making it harder for me to do any kind of jumping these days. (Sorry no pics of the fat lady leaping!)

My grandpa’s birthday was on Feb 29. I think if he was alive, he’d only have had 24-25 birthdays! Poor guy.
A girl friend of mine is getting “induced” today! How fun to get to pick the 29th!

My buddy had a rockin’ 7th birthday on the 29th. He is really 28 or 29. We celebrated it like a total 7 YO would with streamers, Spongebob, Classic Skating… the whole thing. What a great time. I can’t wait until his 8th birthday because his Mom is in charge and throws the ultimate 8th birthdays for all of her kids. Haha!!
Lori – I love that they celebrate it for the times he’s had a bday. I think that is a great way to celebrate for any year of a birthday. I want to go roller skating and have streamers and Spongebob!!
