I like your luminaries! Recently, I saw turkey luminaries in Family Fun Magazine and was thinking about adapting for Halloween. These luminaries had tissue paper covering the cut-outs. I thought that pumpkins would be be cute.

Thanks for the great idea, I am always looking for some fun new things to do with the kids. If my kids and I make these, do you care if I post them on my blog, of course with your link and info? All credit to you? Email me and let me know.

Kristin – Of course you can do these and post about them, and I’d love a link back. Thanks for asking. Have fun crafting.

Thanks so much for the terrific idea. I made up a whole bunch over the weekend. Mine aren’t as nifty as yours, but I had fun. I confess I got tired of cutting things out, (and I had no appropriate stickers) so I started using the pin prick method to frame the designs and let a little light shine through This worked really well for outlining a pumpkin and allowing me to cut out a face to make both friendly and scary jack o’ lanterns. Thanks again. :)
