These California clementine oranges come around every winter and make me happy. They’re easy to open, peel, and eat! A favorite go-to snack. My whole family will eat them, we go through a whole bag every week. Even my 18 month old tries to peel them herself, putting the skins in the garbage (smart girl)! They are a perfect snack for the winter season, giving us a burst of vitamin C and satisfying a sweet tooth.
What favorite snacks are you munching on making you happy this winter?

We love the Little Cuties at this house, too! We’ve also just discovered Honey Crisp apples. They’re about $1/pound more than other varieties, but sooooo worth the extra price. Crispy, sweet with a little bit of tart, and melt into juice as soon as you bite into them.
I love these too. Seeing them in the stores always makes me think of Christmas. We’re snacking on nuts and dried fruit in the winter.
We love the Cuties, too. I had two last night!
I’ve been working on a box of oranges a friend sent us from Florida – they are so yummy and sweet.
Crazy question do they have seeds?
We are on our 3rd bag in 2 weeks! So yummy
A bag of those can disappear in my house in less than 2 days! I think my kids would eat no fruit at all in the winter if it weren’t for Cuties! :)
Ahhh I just discovered those at Sam’s too! Hubby brought a couple home first and my 16 month old devoured them so we bought a 5 lb bag and it was gone in about 4 days! The last 10 lbs i’ve bought at Publix though and they haven’t been good at all so i’m wondering if they are going out of season now. I’m sad, we loved them!
Breanna S – They are seedless, making it even better for my kids not having to dig any out and safe for my 18 month old. Yay!
We love these too! We’ve been thru 10lbs in just a few days! My Mr. calls them “nature’s little candies”…haha!
We love clementines around here too… no seeds, yay! We have a bag in the fridge we snack on in the afternoons. A satisfying little snack. And the “URA Cutie” stickers are fun to leave around or stick on my handsome husband :)
We love them too! We’ve been eating mass quantities this winter. Seriously, we buy a bag and it is demolished by the next day. My 2 year old loves them and eats most of them. He can easily peal them and they break into such nice little pieces that I don’t find spat out gross pieces of fruit around the house (as he will do with other types of fruit he can’t fully chew). I need to go buy more today!
A favorite? Pomegranates. So tasty. I finally figured out to peel and break them open underwater (in a small bowl) to cut down on the juicy mess. Delicious.
Teacher – Yes, Pomegranates!! And great tip on peeling them under water. I’ll be trying that soon.
Santa brought a whole bag of these babies to my house and I’ve been buying them by the cartload ever since. I love that they’re smaller so my kids don’t waste them and they’re still getting good vitamin C!
We like the cuties, but usually get the Clementines. My daughter would eat them morning noon and night if I would let her.
Love those cuties too! The skins can go in the yard waste or composte pile. Back to nature little cuties!
i just peeled and was eating one of these right as i clicked on your blog! i love them, especially because they are so much easier to peel than oranges.
Man my girls honest to goodness eat 4 a day, so so yummy :)
They are the best! I like keeping them out on the counter, but Kyle likes them cold in the fridge. I just forget about them in there.
I love how easy they are to peal. Another plus – they are delicious!
Yes, we love them too! Perfect for snacking and lunches for my kindergartener and my toddler snarfs them down before I can blink.
I’ve been on a dried apricot kick lately, though. My MIL got a wonderful arrangement of dried fruit for their Christmas party and I took home half of the leftovers.
We have a bag on our counter right now. My son would eat as many as I would let him, but I have to ration him.
LOVE THEM!! They are my favorite winter snack!
