Making Memories, Baby Showers, and Smashing Art

by Marie on February 21, 2011

Here’s a few places I’ve been posting this week. Memory making, cute cookies for a baby shower, and smashing up our arts and crafts.

  • I’m happy to share that I’m a leader of the new Blog Frog community, Memories in Motion by Pixorial. I’m numbered among some amazing women who will be leading discussions all about family, memories, and DIY. Head over to share how you’re making memories.

  • These white chocolate dipped cookies over at Snackpicks are the perfect way to say “we’re having a baby”! Make a batch, decorate according to your baby’s gender, and surprise mom and dad that you’re pregnant. Or they would also make a perfect treat to share at a baby shower.

  • Also at Snackpicks, I’m sharing a few fun ideas for playing I Spy with your kids. The perfect game to play while you’re in the car or waiting in line at the grocery store.
  • We’re having a “smashing” time crafting with paint and paper over at BabyCenter’s Momformation today. With just 2 supplies, you can create these fun smashed pictures. You never know how they will come out. It’s always a fun crafty surprise!

Do I spy a mini Marie? Great crafts. I’m definitely doing the smashing paint today with my 8 year old. And…my 13 year old will probably jump in and have some fun with it too! Thanks for the idea.

You could say that this is the mommy-to-be’s version of the daddy-to-be passing out pink/blue label cigars…

Love the cookies! I’m not usually a fun of white chocolate but I think I’d become one for a bite. And we’ll be checking out the new Blog Frog community =)
