I agree with Heidi B, this tasted nasty. There’s no reason to waste an egg on this; if you have a chocolate craving, just go buy some cookies or something.

I am by no means a novice baker, and figured this would be gross, but gave it a whirl, and was not surprised. As I suspected, it had almost no chocolate flavor, the texture was chewy and the cake dried out almost instantly. It tasted like chocolate scrambled egg cake. *Yuck*
I followed the directions exactly as written, didn’t over stir, didn’t over cook, and it was just plain gross.

This is yummy…I’ve given it as a gift before. Cake mix in one bag, frosting mix in another bag, attach the directions and put in a cute mug. So fun!

this microwave cake came out great.
i suggest adding a few semi-sweet chocolate chips
into the batter before cooking…it gives it a gooey
chocolaty center=)
