I, too, am teaching about Christmas in Italy and spent HOURS looking for an appropriate craft to go along with the Italian Christmas story of Befana. I finally found this craft and am so excited that it is appropriate for first through third graders (I will just adjust how much of the craft the students are responsible) and that I don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for a craft for over 150 students!! Thanks so much! You made my weekend!

I’m a K teacher and as we’re about to start our “Christmas around the World” unit, I was looking for ideas to include Italy in the program. This broom is the perfect project for that!!! It’s easy, fun and goes perfect with the story I’m reading. Thank you for sharing, it’s a wonderful idea and I’m sure the kids will love it!
