You have given me the courage to actually use paint outside! Here is a similar activity we like to do with sidewalk chalk.... my less scary alternative.

We love doing this; we glue googly eyes on them when they're dry. We're getting ready to go to Vermont for a week and I'm taking along some glow-in-the-dark paint for the kids to use on rocks they find while hiking--keeps them into the hike if they're looking for the perfect rock to paint. should be fun to look at them at night.
