Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {3 per Christmas tree}
  • School Glue
  • Brown Cardstock
  • Green Decorative Scrapbook Paper
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Small Rhinestones
  • Scissors

Directions:

First grab three popsicle sticks {three per Christmas tree} and glue them together to look like a triangle. Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each tree you want to make.

While those are drying, grab your green scrapbook paper and cut a triangular shape that will be placed within the popsicle stick design. At this time, you should also cut out a small rectangle from the brown cardstock, for the stem of each tree.

To finish off the Popsicle Stick Christmas Trees – have children paint their popsicle stick design completely green, as well as gluing the paper pieces and rhinestones in place. Once done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!

To display – simply add some ribbon to the back to turn them into ornaments or gift tags OR add magnets strips to the back, for easy displaying on a fridge.
