I have been pressing my leaves in a phone book. It's nice and heavy and really, I don't use a phone book that often since it's just easier to use Google. I'm going to use some of my dried leaves to insert into a slit in placecards that I am making for Thanksgiving (from the Nov issue of Martha Stewart Living). I can't wait to see how they turn out. I'll post it on my blog when it's ready: http://blog.marthaandme.net. I have to say I love the smell of leaves. There's something so earthy yet sweet about the smell.

We're taking pressed leaves and putting them between two sheets of clear contact paper (the adhesive kind) with some extra embellishments and making autumn placemats.

Marie -- thanks for your on-going ideas to keep the best parts of our lives busy, happy, inspired, challenged and smiling. I use so many of your ideas.

Happy Autumn!
