Sorry I haven't posted a comment in forever, but here's my opinion on baby girl's quilt. I think you should buy the same floral PBKids fitted sheet you have on Lucy's toddler bed to put on the crib - that way it ties both their beds together (I did this w/ the boy's room w/ their crib and toddler bed). I think you definately need to still have some greens and pinks in Anna's quilt, but you could pull in some of the other colors that are in the fitted sheet and Lucy's quilt. I'm sure the new quilt will turn out darling - can't wait to see it!

Also, you and Steph did such a great job on Sue's quilt - it is DARLING! Can I put in a request if we decide to have another one?

Okay, so I'm going to sound clueless... which I am about quilting. When you say "they did the fancy strippling there," what do you mean. Define "strippling" for me. I became interested in sewing in order to learn how to quilt, but just haven't had the time or confidence in myself to really go for it. Plus I wish I could find someone around me to do the "fancy strippling" part. Thanks.

I love the boys quilt, it's way to cute! Where did you take it to finish it? That's the hardest part, I never seem to get quilts past that stage. Do they bind the edges?

Anyway I think that light purple and green with a little bit of white would be great. It would coordinate without being to matchy.

YEAH! What fabulous ideas. Thanks to everyone for their color choices. I think I might be leaning toward the more bold pink and greens, and maybe do the opposite of the original one. I found some cute green and bright pinks to use. Maybe a little yellow or orange in the mix.

I would love to make my kids "Kid" quilts too, so I think the wild and crazy fabrics will have to wait for that.

Quilting is so crazy, as there are soooooo many fabric colors and choices to pick and make!

I love pink/brown combos, or even pink and black...the toilette style.
I love the brown and blue one you did. My sister is also having a boy so that gives me some good ideas for a decoupage project I'm doing for her.

Hi! New here- love your site, your ideas, your quilts!

What about pinks and oranges?

It would coordinate with the other one, but not match, and is still very much girl colors...

Have fun!! Let us all know what you decide!!!

WOW!!! These are so cute... I love them. Lucy's quilt is darling and you can make one that has purple instead of pink I also like the idea of doing brown and pink. That is a "hot" combination.
Next month already?!?!? Good Luck!
