Directions:

First cut your colored tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills} Set aside.

Next take your CD and put a good amount of glue all over it. Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the CD is completely covered and has a beautiful mosaic look to it. This is the snail’s shell.

While they are working on that, cut out a simple hot dog shape out of the cardstock, as well as some antennas. Go ahead and glue some wiggle eyes & the antennas in place.

To finish off the Recycled CD Snail Kid Craft – go ahead and glue the finished cardstock piece to the recycled CD. At this point, you can add also other embellishments you see fit to give your snail that one-of-a-kind look! Then display your new friend proudly!
