Stained Glass Christmas Trees

by Marie on December 4, 2008

I’m contributing over at Alpha Mom again today (the first Thursday of each month). So, come on over to Alpha Mom’s – Once Upon a Holiday to see how we made these fun Paper Stained Glass Christmas Trees. They’re shining brightly in our window and setting the holiday mood.

Very cute idea. I suppose it’s time to take down my autumn leaves in our windows now …

After seeing your idea, I made these with my daughter, age 9. We also made a house from a brown paper grocery bag with cutout windows & door with yellow tissue to look lit from within. Two trees, the house, and plain white paper snowdrifts make a very cozy scene in our kitchen window.

Catie – Love your little Stained Glass House idea. We’ll have to make these next year to go with our trees. Thanks for sharing.
