This week, Orville Redenbacher’s is their featured sponsor and they’ve asked me to help join in on the popcorn fun. Who doesn’t love to pop some corn while playing family games, or even snuggling up and watching a show?

Popcorn Family Time

Busy Moms Guide BookOrville Redenbacher’s is giving away a fun Family Popcorn Bundle to THREE lucky winners here at Make and Takes. The bundle includes, 3 boxes of popcorn, a popcorn bowl, and Kathy Peel’s most recent book, The Busy Mom’s Guide to a Happy, Organized Home. And if you want to increase your chances, there’s more bundles to win over at Mom it Forward and I Never Grew Up.

Orville Redenbacher’s would like for as many people to win in this giveaway as possible. Therefore, they have provided this downloadable coupon for you to save on your next popcorn purchase. Enjoy!

This is our first year having a garden…it certainly is a summer of service! I would love to win this package, especially the book! The bowl and popcorn would be the cherry on top!

We planted tomato plants. My twin 4 year old boys are very invovled in wtering and watching them grow.

4 Trisha N. June 8, 2009 at 2:02 pm

We also planted a garden and are spending many hours fishing. I love family time!

Summer is a time when lots of people move in our out – we’ve been able to help a couple times for each instance! My husband is good for lifting and I am good for helping other ladies pack, watching kids and making meals. Summer really is a great time for serving others as a family. Thanks for the entry!

Our most favorite family tradition that we have started with our two kids is family movie night. And it wouldn’t be a movie night without the popcorn!

7 Jessica June 8, 2009 at 2:48 pm

We have planted a garden this year and are sharing with neighbors. Cheaper for everyone!

8 Carol June 8, 2009 at 2:57 pm

We started a tradition of Family Movie Nights, (yes, with a lot of popcorn!), and you’d be surprised how much fun it is to rewatch old Disney Classics like Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan. Hope I win!

Sounds like I need to have a plan in place for service….soemthing to think about! We are moving this summer and have decided instead of selling our furniture that we don’t want we are giving it away to those we know need a particular item.

We love to “Ding Dong Ditch” our neighbors. The only rule is that when you ring the doorbell and run away, you have to leave something nice behind. We always let our five-year-old pick the house that gets ditched, and he has a great time sneaking around and trying to leave treats without getting caught!

When our girls were home, we used to play games such as Rummycube and Boggle.

12 Nanna June 8, 2009 at 6:54 pm

I LOVE popcorn all the time–summer, winter, spring and fall!
Hope I win!!!

13 Jen June 8, 2009 at 7:41 pm

We LOVE family movie nights! It doesn’t even really matter what we’ve watching, although it’s fun to rediscover old favourites from our own childhoods…there are few things better than snuggling with kidlets under a big blanket with a bucket of popcorn!

we enjoyed game night this evening and I love the idea of each of us picking an activity to do each night this week, we will be starting that tomorrow evening and continuing through the week.

How incredible. We are working on reducing our footprint this summer. Hope we win the popcorn – it is the kids favorite thing to eat, morning, noon and night.

Since it just my husband and me right now (baby on the way) we have helped out our neighbors with moving in/out and we have helped our family members get to and from the airport (which is a big deal to them… since it would cost them a LOT of money to park their car at the airport). I love this giveaway! Hope I win! I would love the popcorn and bowl for movie night and the book sounds good. Thanks for the chance to enter!
