New Year’s Eve Noise Makers

My kids have yet to make it to midnight on New Year’s Eve, but this year my son is determined to stay up… we’ll see! So in preparation, we’re gathering our pots, pans, and noise makers for the big count down. We’ve been crafting these fun Homemade Noise Makers out of recycled paper rolls.

Rumblin’ Rainsticks

Rainsticks are one of my favorite musical toys. My sister has a really large wooden rainstick they got in Mexico. It’s super big and the sound of rain seems to go on forever. I have wanted to make one for a long time, and with the rainstorms we’ve been having, now is a great time.

Ribbon Rings
