Toilet Paper Rolls

by Marie on September 21, 2007

As a former teacher, I collected tons of household supplies like empty toilet paper rolls, baby food jars, formula cans, paper towel rolls, and egg cartons. I still have this need to save all the toilet paper rolls for some sort of project. I just found this great site called Whip Up, that crafted Bracelets out of Toilet Paper Rolls. The original post came from Nini Makes, who love to make new things out of old. Now I can still save a few empty rolls for this great project!!

My kids and I made guitars out of Kleenex boxes, paper towel rolls, and rubber bands. They love it have been “playing” them for days. The bracelets are a cute idea, I’m going to have to try that one.

Hi, I created this toilet paper roll project for Whip Up and as a crafter and primary school art teacher I collect pretty much everything. Such as plastic packaging for this little project here

You’ll also find an alternative toilet paper roll bracelet on my site using felt & buttons as well as loads of other children/family oriented projects.

Enjoy!

And if you like what you see, link me – cheers! : )

Joanie, I am so glad you commented. Thanks for the great idea of those bracelets. I love to use up old stuff and make something new. Lovely!!

Thank you for sharing this idea! My daughter and I have used empty toilet paper rolls (or paper towel rolls) to make napkin rings. (Cut them in thirds…then wrap decorative paper around them covering the inside, too.)
