I’m putting together a fabulous week of children’s birthday party ideas. Each day this week will have 2 themed party ideas, from princesses and pirates to Dora and dinosaurs!
I hope these party posts will help give you the jump start you might need to throw a fantastic birthday party. Enjoy!

Oh, sounds like fun! Can you do one for fish? For some reason my almost 2 year-old wants a fish party. Some day we will understand what goes through her head. :-)
Back in November I did a Dino party for my 5 year old. It was so much fun! I’m excited to see what other party themes are here this week!
Last summer I did a bug party for my 6year old. It was so much fun! Here’s what I did: http://pensandneedles-lynn.blogspot.com/2009/08/lets-get-buggy.html
My son and his cousin are a year apart and very close! So we celebrate together. It makes it hard though b/c one is a boy and the other is a girl.
This year we did a primary color party at a local gym. It was a huge success and actually pretty cool.
I wrote about it and included links to all the templates I made.

My son just turned 1 in April and I did a world theme…”Look Out World, I’m (I put his name here) turning 1! I had his 1 year pictures taken with a globe, which turned out adorable. I bought an inflatable solar system and my husband hung that up in our living room/dining room. I have the round cake pan so I made an earth, sun and moon cake, which everyone loved and all the kids were yelling out which planet they wanted to eat. For the kids I got them each an earth beach ball and earth foam picture frames, I put their names on them and then I sent other little stickers home with them to decorate them. It worked out great because Earth Day is in April as well so it was a great theme. Everyone had a lot of fun!
We’ve done quite a few army birthdays (one child just has his mind made up)
