I, too, have made a purse out of a pillowcase.

Related to your monster crafts theme, I wanted to tell you that I cut two eye holes in a pillow case for my daughter and turned her into a ghost. She is 2 and it fit perfectly. My son, nearly 5 tried it on but it was a bit small. I guess he’ll require a sheet…
