What’s On Your iPod?

by Marie on May 14, 2007

I love iTunes. I get the newsletter every Tuesday and they always have a free download. Love it. I usually love the free song. Sometimes they give songs that are not quite what I like to listen to, but most of the time, they’re a hit.

Some of my favorite bands these days are:

The Shins
Keane
Lily Allen
Sufjan Stevens
Brandtson
Jem
The Killers

Here are some of the songs that keep me going. I am training for the Hood to Coast relay this August. My family is running this race, but more on that later.

For workouts:

Since You’ve Been Gone: Kelly Clarkson – I sing along with this song like I am Kelly herself.

Hung Up, Sorry: Madonna – Such good beats and keeps my legs joggin’.

The Sweet Escape: Gwen Stephani – Even though I am jogging, I want to be on roller blades for this song.

Less Talk More Rokk: Freezepop – This reminds me of how much I rokk at this song on Guitar Hero II.

For cool downs:

Mad World – Gary Jules/Tears for Fears – I love this remake.

Anything by Death Cab for Cutie

Goodbye and Go – Imogen Heap

Joni Mitchell – She got me though the college years.

I love the songs on my iPod, but I am always on the lookout for new stuff! What’s on your iPod?

Holy crapness Marie…who the heck are all of those bands you mentioned? I must be seriously out of it. I’m sure I’ve probably heard their stuff and just don’t know the band name. I seriously had to laugh though, since I didn’t recognize ANY of them. :-)

P.S. How did the boutique go? I saw your booth, but don’t see a post-boutique entry!!

“Goodnight Moon” by Shivaree is a great one to add to your ipod. It is good for a workout and for relaxing. Hope you enjoy…
