The only way I coped when I was pregnant with Seneca was with ZOFRAN! I couldn’t even stand up without throwing up. I would reach down to pick up a sock and immediately have to run to the toilet. It was a nightmare. Next pregnancy, I feel the slightest queeziness and I am RUNNING to the doc to get more ZOFRAN! It’s a miracle drug. LOL! Wish i was closer so I could bring ya dinner!!

Marie! Congrats! I haven’t been over here in awhile because I, too, have had awful all-day sickness. Not that I’m glad you have been so sick, but it’s nice to know I’m not alone!!!

Hey Marie, I suffered pretty badly with both mine, although it lessened after 5 months! Just saw your mention on whip-up - well done!

Marie, that is the worst feeling! If you can talk your OB into giving you Zofran, I promise it will be your best friend! Sometimes it was the only way I could make it through a day!!

I’m so sorry!!! That really sounds unpleasant. I did want to mention that I just ordered from My Girlfriends Kitchen too and I am really excited to see how they turn out!! (Work is so crazy, I never have time to think about dinner during the week, let alone find time to get food, prepare, and cook it!)

Oh dear - the only thing that got me through it (and I didn’t even have other children at home yet!) was an even, steady flow of food into me - anything would do. During a trip to Shanghai in my 5th month (yeah, I know - smart!), it was Tic-Tacs. Before that, it was tiny preserved, dried Asian plums (they’re REALLY salty and REALLY sour. They can also be dropped into a glass of 7-up to add a bit of sour.) The whole crackers in the morning thing never worked for me. I just had to make sure I NEVER got hungry, but I couldn’t get full, either. I remember the JOY when I went to a party, saw sushi (without fish..just veg) and ate until I was full.
