Sorry Rame, It was Randall. He sent about 20 books by the author, Larry Niven. I liked most of them, but some of them were a little over my head in the spacey sci-fi department!!

I will have to check out the Alcatraz book. You always suggest good books too.

Ender’s is still my #1 favorite scifi/fantasy. HP still comes in 2nd.

I love all the rest of Card’s stuff.

If you are looking for a new favorite, may I recommend “Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians” by Brandon Sanderson. Sanderson was recently selected as the author to finish the Wheel of Time series after the original author, Robert Jordan, died of a rare blood disease.

“Alcatraz” is a young adult book so it is a quick, clean and very funny fantasy read.

OCJEN - I am proud of you to try anything. It is a good Sci-fi book to start with.

Becky - I didn’t know you loved this one too. You are also my favorite niece now!! I did really love Ender’s Shadow too.

Bonnieb - I just watched the movie for Stardust and I liked it better than the book. I would suggest just watching the movie on that one. The endings are very different and I liked the Movie ending a lot better!

Amy - I am glad that I gave you that extra push to read this fun book. If you already like sci-fi, you will love this one too. And I am glad you liked the pizza, it’s a favorite.

You don’t know me. I have been lurking around for awhile, but I just have to comment here! My husband has been pestering me for months to read Ender’s Game and he was so excited to hear that someone else suggested it to me. I do love sci-fi/fantasy books (and anything else with words!) so there is no excuse now!

I love O. S. Card’s Sci-fi books! All the ones I read were fabulous. What did you think of Stardust? I saw the movie before I read the book. I think that ruined if for me. I didn’t really like the book, because I expected it to be more like the move.

I have to admit that a probably COULD NOT be pegged as a sci-fi girl. BUT…I’ll try almost anything at least one time. I never would’ve thought that I liked books about vampires either, but I loved the Twilight series.I might have to check this one out too.
