Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl and mix.

Add chicken pieces in a sealable plastic bag and add 3/4 of marinade to the bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 8 hours. Save the marinade left for basting when grilling.

Prepare grill to medium high heat. Place marinated chicken pieces on soaked wooden skewers/ metal skewers.

Grill chicken for 3-4 minutes, baste with some of the left marinade marinade and flip chicken skewers. Don't baste the cooked side. Grill for another 3 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Serve with tzatziki on side, some pita bread, corn on the cob or potato salad.
