Chicken Alfredo Casserole Recipe


  • 1 package penne pasta or any pasta shape
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce
  • cups  shredded rotisserie chicken or other diced cooked chicken
  • cups  shredded mozzarella
  • Optional: chopped fresh herbs: parsley basil, oregano for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (180°C). Cook pasta al dente in a large pot according to package instructions. Drain and return pasta to the pot and add shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce. Gently toss to combine until the pasta is evenly coated.
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish and add half of the chicken and pasta mixture to the prepared dish. Sprinkle evenly with 1 cup of cheese and add the remaining half of the pasta evenly on top. Sprinkle evenly with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. Bake for almost 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and starts to turn golden/ brown. Remove rom the oven and serve immediately, sprinkled with chopped fresh herbs on top, if desired.
