Fudge Pops

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups 355 ml 2% or whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, whisk together the milk, cocoa powder, and maple syrup.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Mix in the chocolate chips, cornstarch, and salt, cooking for several minutes until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into a popsicle molds.
  5. Freeze until solid, or about 6 hours, placing the popsicle sticks in after 30 minutes.
