Ice Cream in a Baggie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 gallon size Zip Bag
  • 2 sandwish size bags
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 Tbsp rock salt

Instructions

  1. Zip it tight and get rid of excess air. Then put it into the second small baggie and Zip tight again. The second baggie here is to prevent the rock salt or ice from getting into the ice cream if the baggie comes open.
  2. Add 2 cups of ice and 1 T rock salt to the large bag. Place the small bags inside the large and seal.
  3. Now shake the bag. It can take 15-20 minutes of fairly vigorous shaking, so gloves are a good choice.
  4. Let out some of the water that is formed as you go. You can add more ice if necessary.
  5. Scoop out the ice cream that forms and enjoy!
