Contributor Spotlight: Amy of Let’s Explore

by Marie on March 1, 2012

I’m taking the next few weeks to spotlight my amazing contributors. Next up on the list is Amy of Let’s Explore who contributes twice a month to our Kids Craft page.

I love everything Amy comes up with. She’s got the perfect creative mind. Really, it’s all about “exploration” on her blog, Let’s Explore. The perfect title for playing everyday. She shares crafts and projects that are hands-on and educational, the kind where the kids don’t realize they are learning too! I’m lucky to have Amy on the M&T team sharing her ideas with us too.

Amy is happiest surrounded by her husband, two daughters, stacks of books, and craft supplies. With a background in psychology, early childhood education, and elementary teaching, Amy is a supporter of playing dress-up, digging in the dirt, and squeezing out puddles of glue. If she could share one message with parents and educators, it would be, “More play, please!” At her blog, Let’s Explore, Amy shares her family’s experiences creating, imagining, and playing together.

Here are just few favorite posts from Amy at Let’s Explore:
