I’m taking the next few Fridays to spotlight my amazing contributors. Next up on the list is Amanda of Craft who contributes once a month to our Kids Craft page.
Amanda is my kind of gal. She comes up with kid craft ideas that are the kind I wish I had come up with. Happily, she’s now writing for me! Amanda knows how to use recycled materials, she’s a ninja with a paper towel tube. And she’s also a wiz in the kitchen, as she also writes a cooking blog called Amanda’s Cookin’.
Here are just few favorite crafts from Amanda:
- Angry Bird Cardboard Tubes
- 3D Tissue Paper Shamrock
- Polkadot Valentine’s Buckets
- Plastic Lid Monsters
Head over to Amanda’s blog and make sure to save all your paper tubes and milk jug lids for all the fun!

Ohh what a nice surprise Marie, thank you so much! I love writing for Make and Takes and it’s an honor to be part of your great site. You are a pleasure to work with as well and I really hope we’ll have the opportunity to meet some day! Thank you!
You are welcome!!
Hi, I found your blog through Blogstar. Yes, there are so many benefits that come out of blogging that I would never have thought of when I first started. There really are some unexpected blessings.
