I was inspired for this pencil topper idea by Melissa from Day to Day. With Valentines coming up, I wanted to do something for my son’s preschool that was fun and handmade. So instead of making those fun house and car toppers that Melissa did, I thought it would be fun to make a Heart Pencil Topper.
Cut 2 small 2 inch felt hearts, sew them together, but stop at the bottom to let the pencil through. Then slip the pencil into the slot and you have a fun Valentines pencil topper for your child and their class. Thanks Melissa, for this fun pencil topper idea.
