Spring Projects and Hunger Games LOVE

by Marie on March 26, 2012

Like I mentioned in the Saturday Spotlight, spring is all about sewing projects. I’m sharing 2 really fun and simple ideas for adding a little spring to your home over at Babble.

These Easter Egg Pillows were way too fun and easy to make. I was going to start out making just one, and then all the kids wanted one, including their friends. Really, this project is so simple. I made 6 of them in 20 minutes and the kids did all the stuffing!

This Spring Banner is the one I made last fall, I’m just using the other side. It’s a great way to make a 2 in1 project. We printed our designs with stamped potatoes, a great project for the kids to help with.

And have you seen Hunger Games yet? They did a great job!! I was really really happy with it. So if you’ve been into all the Hunger Games hype, like me!, then check out these Craft Tutorials for Hunger Games. This printable from Living Locurto is going right into my copy of the book! I’m Team Katniss all the way!!
