Back 2 School Swap
Sep 1st, 2007 by Marie
I am involved in a crafter’s swap called the Back 2 School Swap. I did a similar swap earlier called My Favorite Things Swap. I loved it so much, I had to be involved with it again. This time it has been organized by a different blogger, but just as much fun to do.

Here is how these swaps work. The organizer pairs 2 people up to send a themed package to one another. It is just a chance to share great ideas and get to know other people out in the world.
This time, I am putting together a package of atleast 3 items that are used in my office or craft room, that I just can’t live without. There are too many things. I am having a hard time narrowing down what to send her of things that I absolutely love. It might be the post-it notes I love, or some great fabric that I have come across, or even some pens that flow like butter to write with.
When the packages get sent and swapped, I will update you on what was had. This swaps deadline has come and gone, but when there is another Swap coming up, I will let you in on when it is happening so you can get in on the action.
What would you put in the package if you were me? Share your great ideas here in a comment.

I’m a lot like you…there are so many things in my office and crafting supplies that I love, it would be hard to choose, but I think I would send:
1. A black signo pen for signing checks.
2. Mini sticky post-it notes
3. Large paper clips
4. Mini composition book
:)
Hmmmm…so many possibilities. I would send:
1. my bodkin! what a life saver.
2. small pair of embroidery scissors
3. definetely post it notes
4. glass-head pastel/shimmery pins
Are you kidding me?? I’ve had so much fun looking on your website with all of your fun ideas!! You are martha stewart! (the good aspects of her!) I totally want to be in on this swap thing- how do I do it?? Let me know! And keep sharing your ideas- I love the crayon thing!
Hi! I came across your blog last week, and am inspired. I am always looking for things to do with my kids. It’s difficult, since they are 6 years apart and the younger just started walking! We made the chunky crayons yesterday-what fun! I posted a picture of them on my blog, if you care to take a gander…Thanks for all the great ideas, and I agree-how does one get in on all the swap fun?
Oh my gosh, are you for real???? What an awesome website. I linked over to you from Laurie. Your site is awesome! I’ll totally be back. Thanks for sharing all the helpful tips. You have great ideas.
