Cadbury Creme Filled Cookies

by Marie on April 8, 2009

What could be better than cookies filled with Cadbury Creme eggs? I think nothing!! As these chocolaty creamy nuggets of goodness have already been deemed My Pure Beauty, I can not tell you how happy I was to find this recipe from Beantown Baker. I used a Cake Mix recipe for the cookie, but there’s still a yummy surprise found in the center.

Cadbury Creme Easter Cookie

Recipe for Cadbury Creme Filled Cookies:

You can use any flavor of cake mix for your cookies, mine is Devil’s Chocolate. Mix your Cake Mix Cookie recipe. Spoon a ball full of dough into your hand. Add a Cadbury Creme egg  in the center and place it on a cookie sheet. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 350* for 10-12 minutes, or until it’s cooked to your liking.

Now dive in. I think I’m going to try this next with the regular size Cadbury Eggs, the more the better! I love me some Easter candy!!

wow, those look sooooo good. i think my kids will think i’m a super-hero for making them. awesome. did you put chocolate chips in the cookie dough – or omit them since you put cadbury eggs in the middle? just curious. . .

Oh MAN do those sound delicious! I’m tempted to go to the store and buy some mini Cadburys right now! But maybe I can hold off until the day after Easter, when all the candy is half-price! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Delicious! I saw this yesterday morning, and decided to make them as my ‘cake’ since it was my birthday yesterday. Cadbury eggs are my absolute favorite Easter candy. They were a hit!

It’s very strange that I just this minute found my Cadbury mini egg stash and then read this! I tweeted it. Heh.

emily – I did omit the chocolate chips for these cookies, instead using the Cadbury egg. Thanks for mentioning it, glad to clarify.
