I *NEED* a new necklace – and some new supplies :)

3 Lisa Peterson March 12, 2010 at 3:18 am

Seriously! This would be a dream come true. The bead selection here in Hawaii is ummmmm – sparse would be an understatement! I’m definitely a necklace kind of gal and I could so use a few new ones.

4 debb March 12, 2010 at 5:29 am

I would make both! I love sets. Okay in fairness, if I have to pick only one I would make a necklace. I love to make jewelry! Thanks for the opp!

5 Tammy March 12, 2010 at 6:27 am

Earrings, of course!! :)

6 Stacey March 12, 2010 at 6:59 am

8 Simone March 12, 2010 at 7:29 am

Hi,
I think I’d like to make a colourful necklace, and perhaps post what I made on my Blog (I have no supplies yet).
I twittered too, so I hope this gives me two comments?
Sim.

One can always use new supplies! I’d love to add the dangles into my crochet jewelry =)

73 Amy Stickle March 12, 2010 at 1:36 pm

If I won, I think I would make a necklace. I have tons of earings…and a special pair of earings my mom gave me, so a cool necklace might be just what I need.

Thanks for the cool giveaway!!

Amy

74 Janel March 12, 2010 at 1:37 pm

Earrings, although that’s dangerous for the mom of an 18 month old!

75 Lisa M March 12, 2010 at 1:42 pm

I would totally make earrings and a bunch of earrings at that!

Thanks for doing the giveaway!!

76 Twinmint March 12, 2010 at 1:45 pm

Necklace all the way…now that my son is old enough to stop breaking them I’ve got only 6 months left to wear my FAV accessory before I baby #2 comes and starts breaking them!

A necklace! So beautiful!

These supplies would be awesome to add to my necklace collection :) I love making necklaces :)

83 Patti March 12, 2010 at 2:18 pm

I have never made my own jewelry and always admired my friend’s work. I would love to try both, but if I must decide…a “summery” kind of necklace would be fun! Thanks for offering the opportunity!

Do I have to choose? I think it would have to be earrings. This would be awesome. Thanks for the chance.

92 HilaryS March 12, 2010 at 2:53 pm

I think I’d go for a necklace – earrings getting too much attention from my infant, and they are too easy to misplace when I take them out. Besides, I’ve been wanting a mother’s necklace for a while now, so perhaps I could make something like that.

93 HilaryS March 12, 2010 at 2:54 pm

I am a facebook fan!

94 Jennifer Cleaver March 12, 2010 at 2:56 pm

I would definitely make a necklace. How great is that!

95 Kim Frohnappel March 12, 2010 at 2:58 pm

I would probably make earrings first, I wouldn’t be able to stop at earrings! There are so many other things to make – keyrings, bookmarks, bracelets, lanyards. I could go on and on!

112 Becca H March 12, 2010 at 5:04 pm

Definately both! Why limit yourself to just earrings or a necklace when you can make things that match?

113 Becca H March 12, 2010 at 5:05 pm

I’m a fan on Facebook!

114 Debra Fillingim March 12, 2010 at 5:11 pm

I love the dangles but why is it limited to a necklace or earrings? I picture a charm bracelet loaded with baubkes and I also envision a fob of clustered dangles that you could havng on a chain or key ring or…

115 Susan Nielsen March 12, 2010 at 5:28 pm

I would make earrings.
Fanned you on Facebook, and following you on Twitter. @justsuec , I RT’d the contest.

116 Kelly March 12, 2010 at 5:31 pm

I’d buck the trend and make fancy schmancy stitch markers (for non-knitters, they’re little things that dangle off your needle between stitches, to remind you of a stitch change or something). Why knit something beautiful with ugly plastic rings or safety pins hanging off, when you can have jewelry for your knitting to wear?!?

117 kiki comin March 12, 2010 at 5:35 pm

necklace, necklace, necklace!

118 Cindy March 12, 2010 at 6:25 pm

Hmmmm … tough choice. I think I’d go with earrings!

119 Jennifer March 12, 2010 at 6:50 pm

121 susan March 12, 2010 at 7:37 pm

125 Heather Abbott March 12, 2010 at 8:09 pm

I’d make both. My good friend Sara makes her own jewelry and is moving away in June, so making her something homemade with supplies from you would certainly make for a special gift!

But other than those red beauties, my jewellery supplies are pretty low… I would LOVE shopping on this site. (And I’ve already got it open in another tab. Uh oh….)
