Pay It Forward Pledge
Dec 12th, 2007 by Marie

I have decided to join the Pay It Forward pledge and give handmade love to others. My rockin’ cousin, Val, made this same pledge and I am in turn passing it on, or Paying It Forward. I think it will be a great way to get to know more of you and incourage you to Pay it Forward as well.
Here is the pledge and how it works:
“I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, which is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.”
And if you don’t have a blog, make the commitment anyway by making something and simply giving it away. I don’t know what my handmade gifts will be, I think it will depend on who it goes too. And chances are, I will get to it a lot sooner than 365 days. This is exciting. And if there is only one who comments, then they get all 3 things! Here’s to Paying It Forward.

Hey Marie!
I’ll try it:) Why not–it’s a great idea. I’ve been a little slow with blogging lately so I don’t know how many comments I would get so I may just try giving 3 things away. I think it would go over great at my office. So here’s to paying it forward!

I’ve seen others do this pledge and something always kept me from joining in. Now I can’t think of any reason why I can’t pay it forward so count me in!
I’ll pay it forward! sounds like fun…….

I love this idea. I wish I would have been one of the first three. Even though I was not I think I will play along on my own sight and start another chain through you- How very fun!
