Rhodes Bake-n-Serve Bread Giveaway

by Marie on September 29, 2008

I’m so excited for today’s giveaway. My family’s been using Rhodes Bake-n-Serve Bread for years. I always have a package of these rolls in my freezer. Their bread dough comes frozen as rolls, loaves, pizza dough, whole wheat bread, and sweet dough. Just simply thaw the dough, let it rise, and bake it fresh. My mom bakes up yummy Parmesan bread sticks, I love to make scones, and my kids have fun making animal bread shapes. Rhodes even has ready to bake cinnamon rolls that go right from the freezer into the oven.

Rhodes Bread was originally only found in Utah where I live, but now they’re everywhere, in almost every state across the US. Go to their product locator to find which supermarket they’re at near you. Even if you live out of the country, you can still take advantage of their great cookbooks, cookware, and aprons.

Today’s giveaway is a Giant Gift Basket from Rhodes, including, free Rhodes coupons, easy grip loaf pans, an apron, oven mitt, and their 2 fabulous cookbooks, which has great recipes like, bread bowls, pizza, and pretzels. Even the kids get involved with the dough, shaping it into spiders, flowers, and teddy bears. We loved eating alphabet letters at dinner time.

=================================================

You can enter this Rhodes Giveaway up to three times for three chances to win: 1) Leave a comment on this post. 2) Subscribe to my RSS blog feed and send me an email confirmation. 3) Blog about this giveaway linking back to this post (send me an email with the details). marie{at}makeandtakes{dot}com

The giveaway ends Thursday, October 2nd at midnight. I’ll announce the winner on Friday morning. Good luck and happy baking!

70 Robin McCoy September 29, 2008 at 8:33 am

OMG, I didn’t even know there was such a thing out there! I love making homemade bread (in fact, I make a loaf about every other day b/c we don’t buy store bread….it molds too quickly and we can’t afford to buy a whole loaf to chunk half of it in 2 days time. :P) You sold me on the gift basket as soon as I saw the nifty loaf pan, the awesomely CUTE cover of the cookbook, and I desperately need a new oven mitt! Tired of burning the tips of my fingers when pulling bread out of the oven. I work a lot of yarn and desperatley need the use of my fingers on a daily basis. LOL! I am going straight to my blog to post about this right after I subscribe to your RSS! :) This is SUPER AWESOME!

134 Kenny Farnsworth September 29, 2008 at 11:47 am

One of my co-workers told me about all of the positive comments on this page. Here is some feedback:

Hilda – Rhodes is not currently sold in Canada. However, Rhodes does produce the Safeway Brand frozen bread and roll dough sold in Canada.

Janene – Wal-Mart Supercenters is currently the only place you can find Rhodes in Florida. They carry white dinner rolls and white bread dough.

If you have any questions about Rhodes you can talk to a live person (no phone tree and they are located in Utah) from 8 AM – 5 PM MST, Monday – Friday 800-876-7333. Thank you!

Oooh, I LOVE Rhodes! I have a thing of loaves in the freezer right now! My mom has made their bread for years. My mom makes the best garlic bread with their rools (she takes garlic and melted butter and pours it in the bottom of a round cake dish and then takes chunks of the roll dough and drops it in there and then cooks it so it makes like a pull apart garlic bread). I would love this giveaway! Thanks for the chance!!
